Author Guidelines

Guidance for preparing and submitting manuscripts to Sangathya. The Journal welcomes multilingual submissions with a focus on culture, language, arts, history, humanities, social aspects and bhakti studies.

Submission checklist

  1. Completed manuscript in accepted format (DOCX or PDF).
  2. Title page with authors, affiliations, ORCID (recommended) and corresponding author contact.
  3. Abstract (150–300 words) and keywords in the manuscript language and English if the manuscript is not in English.
  4. High-resolution figures and tables with captions.
  5. Declarations: funding, conflicts of interest, ethics approval (if applicable), and copyright/ license form.
  6. Similarity report if available (the Journal will also run its own checks).

Formatting & references

Use the journal template where provided. Follow a standard citation style (e.g., Chicago or APA) consistently. Provide full references with DOIs where available.

Ethics & permissions

For research involving humans, animals or sensitive cultural material provide ethics committee approval and informed consent documentation. Obtain permission for any reproduced third-party material and retain proof.

Publication limits & scheduling

The Journal may limit the number of articles per issue. Accepted articles may be queued for publication in subsequent issues to maintain quality and schedule. Authors will be informed of expected publication timing.

Fees, waivers & non-refundability

APCs or processing fees, where applicable, are published on the website. All payments are non-refundable except where required by law. Waiver policies are assessed case-by-case.
