Copyright & License

This policy explains copyright ownership and licensing choices for authors publishing with Sangathya, and how the Journal enforces rights.

Copyright ownership

Authors retain moral rights. On acceptance authors either transfer copyright to the Journal or grant an exclusive licence to publish as set out in the acceptance correspondence and the copyright form.

Licensing options

Permissions, enforcement & takedown

Unauthorized commercial reuse is prohibited. The Journal will pursue infringement through DMCA-style notices, cease-and-desist demands, and legal action where necessary. Authors and the Journal may act to protect rights; authors grant the Journal authority to act on their behalf for enforcement related to published material.

Self-archiving & versions

The policy will state which article version may be self-archived (preprint, accepted manuscript, or published version) and any embargo periods; these details are included in the acceptance letter.

Contact the editorial office for permissions, reuse requests, and copyright queries.
